The first Iron Man videogame, also released by SEGA, was pretty badly reviewed and did not generate a lot of sales. Both Iron Man himself and War Machine will be playable characters and Crimson Dynamo has been confirmed through a Comic Con trailer as being the main antagonist in the game. The band's Back in Black made for a key moment in the first film, so this feels like a natural progression of sorts, although how many of the album's 15 tracks actually feature in Iron Man 2. The story will not be the same as that of the movie, although certain connections will be made.

The new track will be called “Hit the Wall” and will serve as the backdrop for the most significant scenes in the game slated to arrive at the same time as the movie it is based on. SEGA has announced it has recruited the well known heavy metal band Lamb of God to create and perform an exclusive song for the upcoming Iron Man 2: The Videogame release.
