The graphics are either copy and paste from VT3 or even worse in places, just not good enough for next-gen consoles. The career mode is mind-numbingly boring with being far too repetitive. I actually really liked VT3 but I feel with the latest installment they have taken a step backwards. Topspin has by far better graphics (the players actually look quite realistic, not like waxworks), and the gameplay is much better too. VT2009 doesn't come close to the brilliance that is Topspin 3 which is by far the best tennis game on any console.
